The Rhein-Ruhr Express (Germany) is an intercity railway line connecting Düsseldorf and Cologne. In this project, BSM self- healing impermeable agent was used to waterproof the tunnels and underground stations. This self-healing impermeable agent automatically repairs cracks and prevents water leakage, thus protecting the underground structure from water.
